The newly remodeled St. John’s Cancer Center will have an open house for the public from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m. Tuesday. A free cancer education program is planned 6 to 8 p.m.
The general public is invited to tour center at 2055 S. Fremont Ave.
Physicians and staff will provide building tours and information about services.
St. John’s cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer.
St. John’s Breast Center is among the programs relocated from the hospital to the cancer center. The new facility is larger, more convenient and adjacent to the comprehensive services available at the cancer center.
The breast center’s satellite location at the Smith Glynn Callaway Clinic and the mobile mammography unit on St. John’s wellness bus will continue to offer screening mammograms.
